Management of the Quality Initiative project; Evaluation and assessment of the quality of state asylum procedure; Provision of recommendations for improvement on gaps identified in RSD procedure; Liaison with state asylum officials, judiciary and the State Border Committee; Organization and facilitation of training events on national and regional levels; Monitoring and management of individual protection cases; Preparation of annual and quarterly reports; Undertaking of country of origin (COI) researches; Protection monitoring visits to foreigners placed in temporary detention facilities; Assistance in legislation improvement initiatives.

Project development and implementation; Focal point on logistical issues for the Unit; Liaison with counterparts (representatives of governmental (Ministry of Interior, State Border Committee and etc.) and non-governmental agencies, representatives of private sector, service providers; Organization of events (seminars, trainings, workshop, press-conferences and etc.); Negotiations with counterparts; Development of info campaigns; Purchasing of goods and services (needs analysis, preparation of procurement requests, tender procedures and etc.); Development of contracts and agreements with legal entities and individuals; Assistance with drafting, translation and reviewing of project documents (incl. reports); Maintaing of contatcs with other untis withtin the Organization; Assistance in legislation improvement initiatives; Monitoring of activities conducted by non-governmental partners; Provision of direct assistance to Victims of Trafficking in Human Beings; Facilitation of awareness raising activities for groups of risk.

Coordination of work of legal consultants and interpreters; Preparation of monthly and annual reports; Maintenance of ongoing project; Legal assistance to refugees, asylum-seekers, stateless persons; Assistance to Office of UNHCR Belarus (including conducting Refugee Status Determination Procedure, registration of asylum-seekers); Assistance to the governmental institutions in asylum issues (consultation, preparation of country of origin information, translation of documents); Participation in protection monitoring activities.
