As a result of education in Software Testing course in Educational Center for Programming and High Tech (IT Academy) the following have been studied: • Understanding of the software testing processes • Knowledge of types and levels of software testing • Understanding of main software development methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum) • Creating testing artefacts: check-lists, test cases, bug reports, test result reports • Knowledge of JIRA bug tracking tool • Creating of SQL-queries • Principles of business communication • Basic knowledge of JSON, XML, web-services testing, estimation of testing • Understading of mobile testing features • Understading of client-server technology • Basic knowledge in Selenium IDE • Basic knowledge in Postman, dev tools Educational project – mobile application Facebook testing in a small group. Main tasks: • functional and non-functional testing (GUI, localization and installation testing) • creating check-list, test-cases and bug reports in Jira as a QA engineer • work organization, test-cases review and test result report creating as a Team Lead.
