My name is Platon, I am studying in the 4th year of BSUIR.
Over a 2 years ago, I started with Python courses on the Coursera portal. After finishing them, I've studied on my own (you can see some examples in my profile on GitHub). Last summer I took free courses from IBA in the direction of Big Data, where my knowledge of Python and SQL came in handy as well as possible.
These courses gave me a huge layer of new knowledge, namely Linux, Docker, Flask, Spark, etc. helping me to understand how to work with it.
Also this summer I had 2 internships in IBA and Softarex. At the first one I got acquainted with SAP and ABAP, and the second one was on ML. I graduated from both of them successfully, but due to the situation in the world, they could not make me an offer.
About six months ago I started studying salesforce. my knowledge of working with data and experience with html helped a lot in this. I have mastered Apex, Aura, LWC and many other development tools by going through trailhead training and practicing on real tasks.
As can be seen from the above, I do not specialize in one direction. Each of them took a lot of time and effort, but I gave my best 100%, which helped me achieve high results. Now I have decided to master the direction of Web development, as one of the most popular in Belarus. There are no Django projects on my github, but when I have an interesting idea, I will definitely share its implementation with you.
Now I am actively studying fullstack development on the Salesforce platform, where the Java-like Apex language is responsible for the backend, and Aura, HTML and CSS are responsible for the frontend.
Despite the fact that my knowledge and experience cannot be compared with senior developers, I am extremely quick to learn, I grasp everything on the fly, so there is no question that I would not be able to find an answer to. The hours in front of the monitor and the tasks in Microsoft ToDo have already become something normal and not frightening, unlike those times when I was just starting my way as a programmer.
My English is at level B2. I can support any conversation and read the documentation in English without any problems. This helped me a lot when studying Salesforce, since all the materials on the resource with lectures, forums are 98% in English.
Besides, I continue to improve my language skills on my own.
Also, not so long ago, when I was assembling a PC for myself, I have discovered a huge interest not only in software, but in hardware, as well. It became of my interest how the higher cache level improves the processor operability, why RAM amounts do run in multiples of 2, etc. Now it became clear to me what is behind the compilation, why and how the data processing improves if the code is written correctly and why there is no point in overclocking new AMD processors.
