The IT company Andersen invites a Project Manager with Fintech experience to work on a large-scale project for one of our customers from Azerbaijan.
The customer is the first and largest bank of Azerbaijan. It serves more than 5 million individuals and 22 thousand legal entities in different sectors of the economy. The bank offers a wide range of banking products and services, as well as participates in social and cultural projects. It cooperates with leading international financial institutions, such as Citibank N.A., Standard Chartered and HSBC, and maintains strong partnerships with Mastercard and Visa.
The project is to build a loyalty program ecosystem, which involves integrating different elements and partners to create value for customers.
Responsibilities:
- Defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Developing detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, vendors, and executive leadership to align project goals.
- Identifying potential risks, dependencies, and issues; implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Managing projects using industry-standard methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall) based on project needs.
- Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams including developers, designers, QA engineers, and business analysts.
- Facilitating change requests, scope modifications, and enhancements while ensuring minimal disruption.
- Tracking project progress using KPIs, status reports, and dashboards.
- Providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation, including technical specifications, contracts, reports, and post-implementation reviews.
Must-haves:
- Experience as a Project Manager for 3+ years.
- Experience in Fintech.
- Good technical background.
- Proven ability to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Experience in developing detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in identifying potential risks, dependencies, and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure project success.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects using industry-standard methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
- Proven leadership skills in coordinating and leading cross-functional teams.
- Ability to facilitate change requests, scope modifications, and enhancements.
- Strong capability to track project progress using KPIs, status reports, and dashboards.
- In-depth knowledge of maintaining accurate project documentation.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
