Middle+ DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a talented and motivated Middle+ DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team to work with an innovative loan servicing system that bridges the gap between banks seeking great customers and consumers looking for flexible payment options for their home improvement projects.

In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the platform. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate processes, and optimize our AWS-based infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS).
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of the platform.
• Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure seamless deployments.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS.
• Ensure security best practices are followed across infrastructure and applications.
• Continuously improve DevOps processes and tools to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Thrive in a startup environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and taking ownership of tasks.

You’ll Be A Great Fit If You Have:

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related role.
• Strong expertise in AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
