Senior Business Analyst (Internal Product)

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with solid expertise in UI/UX design to join our product team. You will contribute to building a technology platform that forms the backbone of our organization.

This platform is designed to capture and advance software engineering knowledge by combining process automation with scalable methods for organizing human work. Our goal is to enable the development of new software that is efficient, cost-effective, and uncompromising in quality.

Project

DaVinci is a product that aims to make software engineering teams more efficient than recently formed startup teams. Already 20+ teams and clients use the product.

Inside the team, we work in weekly sprints, releasing to production several times per day. Our goal is for every team member to classify as elite or high performer according to DORA metrics. We work without traditional BAs and manual QAs, meaning that engineers learn requirements from users directly and test features themselves. We work by TDD, and 80% of the project’s code is currently covered with automated tests.

Team: Product Owner, Project Manager, Tech Lead, QA Lead, 2 Systems Analysts, 5 Software Engineers.

What we expect from a Business Analyst:

• 6+ years of experience in business analysis in software engineering,
• Proven experience in business analysis and product design. The ability to independently define requirements,
• Demonstrated success in creating and launching new products into production,
• Experience working on a project from its initial stage,
• Strong UI/UX design skills, with the ability to produce wireframes, mockups, and detailed design specifications,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences,
• Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher,
• Ability and readiness to master code-based tools for executable organizational process design.

What a Business Analyst will do:

• Design the technology platform, including software systems and business processes, to achieve business outcomes,
• Conduct user research to understand needs and design user interactions,
• Develop UI wireframes, mockups, and product design requirements,
• Collaborate with engineers to guide design implementation and integrate features seamlessly into user routines,
• Analyze user behavior, collect feedback, and iterate on product features to enhance usability and effectiveness.

Will be a plus:

• Engineering background or experience working closely with development teams,
• Experience in visual design.
