DevOps k8s Engineer

BLD Soft (Setplex) are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing infrastructure, maintaining high availability, and supporting customer-hosted environments.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS, Fedora).

• At least 1 year of production experience with Kubernetes (k8s).

• Experience with MySQL databases.

• Familiarity with ELK stack, Redis, and RabbitMQ.

• Hands-on experience with cluster systems (e.g., databases, load balancers).

• Solid understanding of networking and basic security (iptables).

• Proficient in BASH scripting.

• Monitoring experience with Prometheus and Grafana.

• Experience with Docker containers.

• Knowledge of Nginx web servers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for servers hosted at the customer’s site.

• Manage and monitor server infrastructure.

• Plan and coordinate software updates.

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents.

• Collaborate with developers in the ongoing development and optimization of software products.

As Pluses:

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.

• Familiarity with video processing and transcoding technologies.

• Experience with OTT/IPTV streaming systems, including HeadEnd hardware/software.
