Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python + React)

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with 8+ years of experience who has a strong sense of ownership, can resolve issues independently, and collaborates effectively within a team.

English level: B2 or higher is required due to close communication with an international product team.

Experience in logistics, shipping, carrier, or 3PL integrations is a strong plus, but not mandatory for senior candidates.

CleverLabs is a software development company specializing in building WEB and API applications since 2015. We work on long-term projects, developing products from scratch as part of distributed product teams. Our clients are based in the USA, the UK, EU, and MENA regions.

About the Project

• Client/Product: A fast-growing logistics technology company

• Product focus: Backend-heavy platform integrating with multiple carriers (DHL, local postal services, 3PLs) via APIs

• Engineering model:

  • Work is organized in 6-week cycles

  • Each cycle starts with a goal-setting workshop

  • Engineers take ownership, define tasks themselves, and set acceptance criteria

Start date: From January 5, 2026 (or ASAP)
Engagement model: Team augmentation, fully embedded into the client’s internal team

Tech Stack

• Backend: Python (preferred, but strong backend engineers can ramp up quickly)

• Frontend: React (frontend is largely AI-assisted, full-stack understanding required)

• APIs: API-first architecture, heavy third-party integrations

• Cloud: Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable

• Database: Azure Cosmos DB (NoSQL)

• AI dev tools: Claude, Cursor IDE (nice to have, not mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs for carrier and 3PL integrations.

• Take ownership of functional areas within 6-week cycles and drive them to completion.

• Break down goals into tasks, define acceptance criteria, and deliver measurable results.

• Collaborate closely with founding engineers during workshops, planning, and delivery.

• Contribute to customer-facing platform features when required.

• Ensure production-grade quality, reliability, and maintainability of delivered solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of commercial software engineering experience.

• English level B2 or higher, spoken and written.

• Strong backend experience with Python or another modern backend language.

• Proven experience building API-driven systems and third-party integrations.

• React experience or solid full-stack understanding.

• Experience with NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).

• Ability to work with minimal specifications in a goal-driven environment.

• Strong communication skills and proactive mindset.

Nice to Have

• Logistics, shipping, carrier, or 3PL domain experience.

• Startup or scale-up product experience.

• Exposure to AI-assisted development workflows.
