DevOps-инженер (Azure)

Linnovate is an Israel - based software development company that provide open-source software solutions, harnessing AI and DevOps expertise to deliver customized, continuously maintained platforms that drive digital transformation and operational efficiency.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, provision and configure core Azure infrastructure for our environment. The role involves setting up secure hybrid connectivity between our on-premises network and Azure, along with deploying and integrating application and database services.

Responsibilities:

​​​​​- Design and implement a Site-to-Site VPN connection between on-premises infrastructure and Azure using VPN Gateway and IPsec tunnelling.

- Create and configure Azure Virtual Networks (VNETs): including subnets, route tables and network security groups (NSGs).

- Provision and configure Azure App Services (App Service Plans, deployment slots, scaling rules, custom domains/SSL).

- Set up VNET integration for App Services to enable private connectivity to backend resources.

- Deploy and configure Azure SQL Server/Database instances: including firewall rules, private endpoints and connection security.

- Ensure secure, private communication between App Services and SQL Server over the VNET (avoiding public internet exposure where possible).

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights) for the deployed resources.

- Apply security best practices: managed identities, Key Vault integration for secrets/connection strings, least-privilege access (RBAC).

Requirements:

- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (VNET, VPN Gateway, App Service, Azure SQL).

- Solid understanding of networking concepts (IPsec VPN, routing, subnetting, NSGs, DNS).

- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform) preferred.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for automated deployments.

- Knowledge of Azure security best practices (managed identities, Key Vault, RBAC).

- Experience troubleshooting hybrid cloud/on-prem connectivity issues.

- Relevant certifications a plus: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), AZ-700 (Azure Network Engineer), or AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert).

- Knowledge of English at B1 Level or higher.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with database migration or hybrid SQL Server setups.

- Background in scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash) for automation.
