Nauchsoft is an international IT consulting and software development company. We have been in the IT business for 37 years and continue growing.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to help define and shape software solutions for our healthcare clients. You will bridge the gap between business/clinical stakeholders and the delivery team, translating complex healthcare workflows and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable specifications. This role suits someone comfortable working with both business owners and clinicians, and who can navigate the regulatory and data-sensitivity constraints specific to healthcare software.

Responsibilities:

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, system, and non-functional requirements from healthcare stakeholders (clinical staff, administrators, payers, or IT teams), through interviews, workshops, and process observation.
  • Translate requirements into clear artifacts: user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, BRDs/FRDs, SRSs, process flows, wireframes, and functional specifications that development and QA teams can act on.
  • Map and analyze existing clinical and administrative workflows, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform business and system analysis and contribute to solution design together with solution architects, technical leads, and development teams.
  • Define integration requirements and collaborate with technical teams on APIs, data flows, and external/internal system integrations.
  • Work closely with solution architects and developers to validate that proposed solutions meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Support compliance analysis, ensuring requirements account for relevant healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, FDA, GDPR, HL7/FHIR interoperability requirements where applicable).
  • Prioritize and manage the product/requirements backlog in collaboration with the Project Manager and/or Product Owner.
  • Support backlog refinement, planning, requirements clarification, and delivery activities.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle, clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguities.
  • Support UAT/SIT planning and execution, ensuring delivered functionality matches documented requirements.
  • Support issue analysis and requirements clarification throughout implementation and delivery.
  • Prepare presentations, project materials, and documentation for business and technical stakeholders.
  • Support business users during implementation, go-live, and adoption of new solutions.
  • Contribute to pre-sales and discovery activities for healthcare opportunities, including requirements discovery, scoping, estimations, and solution discussions.
  • Work directly with prospective customers to understand business needs, challenges, and expectations.
  • Collaborate with Sales/Account Managers, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and technical experts during the presales stage.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, estimates, assumptions, presentations, and other presales materials, and participate in customer presentations and solution discussions when required.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on custom software projects, with at least 1–2 years on healthcare-related projects.
  • Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, formalization, and documentation skills, with experience producing user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, BRDs/FRDs, SRSs, functional and non-functional requirements, and process diagrams (e.g., BPMN). Prototyping – Lovable, Figma, Claude.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Analysis techniques and approaches.
  • Experience with business process modeling and system analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare industry relevant to IT delivery — data privacy and security expectations (e.g., HIPAA), clinical and administrative workflows, and common system landscapes (EHR/EMR, practice and revenue management, claims, patient portals, etc.).
  • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle, from discovery and solution definition through implementation, testing, and go-live.
  • Understanding of software architecture, integrations, APIs, and data flows at a Business Analyst level.
  • Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and/or Waterfall delivery models.
  • Experience collaborating with development, QA, architecture, project management, and business teams.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements for technical teams.
  • Ability to independently lead workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements discussions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex business and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills in English, with English level B2+ or higher, and both spoken and written, and experience presenting to and gathering input from non-technical and clinical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience participating in presales and discovery activities.
  • Practical experience using AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar tools in daily Business Analysis activities, including requirements analysis, documentation, research, meeting preparation, User Story and Acceptance Criteria refinement, and test-scenario preparation.
  • Ability to critically review and validate AI-generated results and use AI tools to improve the quality and efficiency of Business Analysis work.
  • Experience with Claude for researches and prototyping.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate effectively in projects with changing priorities.
  • Experience working with US, Gulf and EU healthcare clients and familiarity with their specific regulatory frameworks.
  • CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
Nice to Have:
  • Prior experience with EHR/EMR platforms, HL7/FHIR interoperability projects, telehealth solutions, or payer/health insurance systems.
  • Background in clinical operations, health informatics, or a related healthcare field.
  • Experience working with compliances and regulations.
  • Experience in IT consulting or enterprise software implementation.
  • Experience working directly with external customers.
  • Experience with complex enterprise integrations.
  • Knowledge of UML or similar modeling techniques.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
