Nauchsoft is an international IT consulting and software development company. We have been in the IT business for 37 years and continue growing.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of software projects for our healthcare clients. You will be the primary point of contact between the client and the delivery team, responsible for planning, budget, scope, risk, and quality across the project lifecycle. This role suits someone who understands both software delivery management and the particular pressures of building software for healthcare organizations — regulatory expectations, data sensitivity, clinical stakeholders, and integration with existing health IT systems.

Responsibilities:

Delivery:

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of medium-to-large IT outsourcing projects, fostering collaboration among distributed teams. Own planning, budget, staffing, risks, governance cadences, change control, and the commercial boundaries of active engagements.
  • Work closely with clients at all levels to define project scope, success criteria, and long-term strategy.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and roadmaps, aligning timelines, resources, and priorities across multiple development streams.
  • Proactively identify and address project risks to maintain project timelines and quality.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of healthcare software projects, from planning through go-live and post-launch support, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality targets are met.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including those related to data privacy, regulatory compliance, and system interoperability.
  • Ensure project documentation and processes align with relevant healthcare regulations and standards (for example HIPAA) and internal quality procedures.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (business analysts, architects, developers, QA engineers, DevOps) and remove delivery blockers.
  • Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and re-planning as project needs evolve, and report status and key metrics to internal and client leadership on a regular cadence.

Account ownership:

  • Act as the primary client contact, manage expectations, resolve escalations, and build long-term relationships.
  • Understand client needs and roadmap, monitor account health, and identify expansion and renewal opportunities.

Presales:

  • Lead the front end of the sales cycle, including discovery, qualification, solution scoping, estimation, RFP/RFI responses, proposals, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff from sales to delivery and maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts in CRM.

AI-agentic delivery:

  • Run AI-agentic workstreams as first-class delivery: define what the agent is accountable for, agree the evaluation approach and acceptance criteria with the client, and keep a human-in-the-loop design where the domain requires it.
  • Govern the risks specific to agentic systems: evaluation coverage, guardrails, data leakage, cost per run, model and prompt version control, and regression when a model or tool changes.
  • Use AI tooling in your own management work (planning, estimation support, documentation, meeting and status analysis) and help the team adopt it.

Team & process:

  • Mentor project managers and team leads and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Improve internal project management processes, frameworks, and best practices.
Requirements:

Must have — delivery and commercial core

  • 5+ years of project management experience in IT services or consulting, with proven success leading mid-to-large projects.
  • Strong expertise in both Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall (fixed-budget) delivery models, including hybrid models, plus fluency in standard PM tooling.
  • Proven multi-team budget management and client escalations handled independently; solid background in budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and reporting at program level.
  • Experience owning a client relationship beyond a single project.
  • Independent experience running discovery and qualifying leads, not only supporting a sales lead.
  • Ability to write and present a proposal or SOW without heavy hand-holding; comfort with pricing models, contract terms, and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and coordinate across subcontractors and vendors.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Upper-Intermediate English, B2+, strong in both spoken and written form.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence, and with CRM for pipeline and forecast hygiene.
Must have — Healthcare domain
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager delivering custom software, with at least 1 to 2 years on healthcare-related projects; 2+ years of healthcare delivery preferred.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare industry considerations relevant to IT delivery: data privacy and security expectations (for example HIPAA), typical healthcare stakeholder structures (clinical, administrative, IT), and common system landscapes (EHR and EMR, practice management, claims, and similar).
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and project management methodologies (Agile and Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid), with hands-on experience applying them in real projects.

Must have — AI and AI-agentic delivery

  • Experience managing projects that involved AI alongside software development.
  • Solid understanding of AI-agentic delivery: what an agentic system is (tools, memory, orchestration, multi-step autonomy, human-in-the-loop), how such work is scoped and estimated, and how it is evaluated rather than simply tested.
  • Understanding of the delivery risks specific to agentic systems: evaluation harnesses and acceptance criteria, guardrails, hallucination and data-leakage risk, cost per run, latency, and model or prompt version drift.
  • Hands-on experience managing at least one AI-agent or LLM-based delivery is strongly preferred.
  • Personal AI proficiency: you use AI tooling daily in your own project management work.
  • A realistic view of governance and auditability, including the judgement to tell a client that a use case is not ready.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with EHR and EMR platforms, HL7 and FHIR interoperability projects, telehealth solutions, or payer and health insurance systems.
  • Experience working with US, Gulf or EU healthcare clients and familiarity with their specific regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with FDA package submission, or with products that went through FDA clearance or were developed under FDA-regulated processes.
  • Background in business analysis or solution architecture before moving into project management.
  • Exposure to AI use cases in clinical or payer settings — clinical documentation, coding and claims, triage support, patient communication — with an understanding of why evaluation and clinician oversight are non-negotiable there.
  • Clinical or life-sciences education (MD, nursing, biomedical engineering) is a welcome plus, though it is not expected.

We offer:

  • Opportunity for professional self-realization and growth;
  • Friendly team;
  • 25-days of paid vacation;
  • Medical insurance and 100% payment for sick leave;
  • Professional training and obtaining certificates at the company's expense;
  • Foreign language courses and other corporate programs;
  • A variety of corporate events;
  • Bonuses in case of wedding or a child’s birth;
  • The possibility of remote work from any location.

This role is prospective and has been created in line with the company’s planned team expansion.

Ключевые навыки

  • Project management
  • Английский — B2 — Средне-продвинутый
