Engineering Manager

Oxagile, a leading-edge full-cycle custom software development company, is looking for a proactive Engineering Manager, experienced to join our Minsk office.

You will work at the challenging projects that utilize state-of-the-art technologies and deliver value to high-profile clients across Europe and the United States brands such as Disney, JumpTV, Discovery, Google, Vodafone, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong software engineering background
• A fundamental understanding of the principles of Agile and Lean development
• Experience leading high performing, autonomous product engineering teams in complex environments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, to the engineering team, to business stakeholders, to leadership team
• Creating a forward-thinking technology culture
• Experience in architecting distributed systems
• Also proactive, driven, customer-centric, solution-oriented, with product mindset

Recent experience \ ability to write code in one of the following languages – Python, Java, C#, JavaScript can be a great plus.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the performance of the engineering team
• Building world class engineering team - helping to build a truly great team of engineers
• Promote and evolve Agile and Lean development process; drive key messages and best practices from Agile and Lean
• Creating an environment and developing processes that promote both autonomy and accountability of the team, creating space and autonomy for team
• Accountable for quality of what the team delivers
