The IT-company Andersen invites a Project Manager with good knowledge of the Kanban methodology on a large-scale telecom project for one of our customers based in Greece.
Our customer is an international telecommunications company, providing SMS and voice, SMS monetization, settlement, and roaming services to a wide range of companies such as mobile operators, telecommunications service providers, social networking platforms, and global email providers.Today it is considered one of the world market leaders in its field.
The project is to keep businesses of all sizes and from all over the world connected with their clients throughout the customer journey. It is important to be able to communicate actively on a project. The customer utilizes Hubstaff's time tracking and performance monitoring tool in their operations.
Responsibilities:
- Defining KPIs, monitoring progress, frequent deep dives for impediments, and ensuring that the delivery is done on time.
- Keeping regular communication with stakeholders, including support, admin and product department. This includes providing regular project status updates, addressing issues as they arise, and managing client expectations.
- Evaluating customer requirements and defining a strategy to achieve the objectives.
- Identify and manage delivery risks. This includes developing risk mitigation strategies, monitoring risk throughout the delivery, and taking corrective action as needed.
- Ensuring that the software developed meets quality standards. This includes defining quality metrics, monitoring quality throughout the delivery, and implementing corrective action as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to improve the software development process.
- Creating project progress reports and presenting information to management.
Must-haves:
- Project management experience in the field of information technology for 1+ years.
- Very good understanding of tools like Jira (mastered in JQL) and Google Spreadsheets (formulas).
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and technologies, including Kanban and continuous integration and delivery.
- Experience in project management, risk management, and resource allocation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders, team members, and customers.
- Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions. Think creatively to find solutions to complex problems.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
